T-BAR 2X RACK is great

The T-bars work perfectly for the de-rigged 2- and I really like how secure it feels on my car (Honda Pilot) even with the short span between the rooftop crossbars (34" or so). We needed it in a hurry and Linda was super helpful and responsive to my questions related to the order too! Thanks!!

CT 2X System

How best to secure a 33 foot, $15,000, carbon-fiber jewel to the roof of my Jeep Grand Cherokee, with cross-bars which sit a mere 24 inches apart, that it might withstand hurricane force winds as I drive mountain passes and interstates? I put this question to Burnham who recommended the CT 2X system. It didn't disappoint. I haven't been brave enough to go without bow and stern straps, though assured by Burnham that I could. The beam comes pre-drilled with holes for the U-bolt that secures it to the cross-bars of the rack. Unfortunately these weren't perfectly spaced for the cross-bars on my Jeep, which are fixed and don't adjust fore and aft. I purchased additional U-bolts and now use one through the pre-drilled holes in the front, and two across the rear cross-bar. The CT 2X is a straight forward and effective system.
